Organic Ancient Roses Hydrolate or Floral Water

Organic Certification · 100% Pure and Natural

Regular price €9,34

The beauty queen

Ancient varieties rescued from centuries-old gardens; damasks, centifolias, albas and gallicas hand-picked on May mornings when they have not yet fully opened.

Floral luxury in its purest and most authentic form.

With 76.22% phenylethyl alcohol—the most water-soluble molecule of all those present in rose—this hydrolate smells more like rose than the essential oil itself.

It's no coincidence: it's pure chemistry.

WE FOLLOW THE CYCLES OF THE MOON

BASED ON PERMACULTURE
WHAT IS A HYDROSOL?

Simply put, a hydrolat is the aromatic water obtained during the distillation process of a plant. When steam passes through the plant material, it carries with it the most volatile and aromatic molecules of the plant. Upon condensation, these molecules separate into two distinct substances: essential oils on one side, and hydrolat on the other. Hydrolat is the living water imbued with a small amount of essential oil dispersed within it, plus all the more volatile water-soluble molecules of the plant.

It is a complete product, distinct from essential oil, even though they originate from the same plant, the same fire, and the same moment. If properly prepared, it is one of the most valuable, delicate, and complete plant extracts available.

Hydrosols have the advantage of having no contraindications and containing water-soluble active ingredients that are not present in essential oil. Being aromatic water, our body assimilates them naturally and gently. The results, from a physical and emotional point of view, can be spectacular, especially when used internally.

In the kitchen: they flavor infusions, smoothies, juices, sweets, and stews. One teaspoon per 500 ml of liquid is enough to transform a recipe.

At home: ideal for cleaning and aromatizing spaces in spray bottles, adding to humidifiers, using as ironing water, or as a cleaning product in bathrooms and kitchens.

On the skin: They are perfect for making cosmetics of all kinds, such as toners, creams, shampoos, and lotions. They are excellent for relieving eczema, wounds, or psoriasis, and for beautifying, regenerating, and protecting the skin. We can apply them directly with a cotton ball, in compresses, in bath water, or in spray bottles.

Internal use: one tablespoon diluted in one liter of water to be sipped throughout the day, or one teaspoon in a glass of warm water, three times a day. It is important that the hydrosol is food-grade and does not contain preservatives.

WHY IS OURS SPECIAL?

Why Is Ours Special?

76.22% phenylethyl alcohol is extraordinary.

This molecule is the most water-soluble of all those present in roses, responsible for the pure and sweet rose aroma, and the most soothing of the aromatic alcohols. Only ancient varieties cultivated with time and respect achieve this concentration.

Fresh petals of the day.

Harvesting and distillation on the same day to obtain exceptional quality. Modern industrially produced roses cannot achieve this.

Four ancient varieties in a single hydrosol: Damascena, Centifolia, Alba, and Gallica. Each contributes its character — the deep and enveloping Damascena, the soft and powdery Centifolia, the green and luminous Alba, the intense and spicy Gallica. An aromatic complexity impossible to reproduce industrially.

Rose oxides, though in small quantities, are the authenticity markers of genuine Rosa damascena. Their presence confirms the true botanical origin. GC/MS analysis certified by an independent laboratory.
